A dedicated IP address ensures that you'll have a distinctive numeric identifier on the Internet and that it will not be shared with other's Internet sites or apps as it happens with a shared hosting account. There are many uses for a dedicated IP - for instance, when an SSL certificate is needed in case you have an electronic store and you need to accept online payments or if you have a login form and you'd like the info that users submit to be encrypted. A dedicated IP address may also be used for other applications, like a VoIP server, for instance. Moreover, it'll provide more credibility and protection to your sites, given that a network flood to a shared IP will not have any impact on your dedicated IP. If you host your websites with our company and you have your own server, you will be able to get one or numerous dedicated IP addresses with only a couple of mouse clicks and to use them just in case you cannot use the IP that comes with the server.

Extra Dedicated IPs in Dedicated Servers

All dedicated servers that we offer come with three IP addresses by default and you'll be able to use them in any way you see fit. If you require additional IPs for any reason, you'll be able to add them to your server with a few mouse clicks without limits as to their number or the period for which you'll be able to employ them. This upgrade comes in increments of three and if you require the IPs straight away, you may add them to the package during the signup process, while if it turns out that you require more IPs at some point later on, you can order them just as easily from your billing area and we'll assign them to your dedicated server a couple of minutes later. The dedicated IPs may be renewed with the web server plan on a monthly basis and you can decide if you shall renew all of them or only a few - in case you no longer need that many. You'll be able to use the IPs both for your own websites and for client hosting accounts - provided you're using the dedicated server as a hosting reseller platform.
