A parked domain address is one that's taken, yet it is not linked to any other service - web or email hosting. To put it differently, such a domain address will not open any actual content if you type it inside a browser, but no one can take it as you've already registered it and you are its owner. The main advantage of acquiring a domain and parking it afterwards is that you can keep it and not stress that someone else might register it meanwhile if, for example, the site for it is not ready yet. You could set a temporary Under Construction website page for a parked Internet domain while you're working on the web site, or direct it to some other web address - temporarily or permanently. The second option can be used if you have already registered domain.com, for example, and you get domain.net and domain.org, in order to protect a brand name or a trademark. In this case, the .net and .org domain names can be parked and directed to the .com because you do not need individual websites for them.

Parked Domains in Cloud Hosting

You're going to be able to park as many domain names as you would like with each of the cloud hosting packages we offer you. Of course, this feature is available only for domain addresses registered here as the service is always provided only by the registrar. In contrast to most companies, we don't charge anything extra for parking a domain name and the process will take only a couple of clicks in your Hepsia CP. We also have a number of parking templates to pick from where you can include custom text. If you choose to host a parked domain name in the future, adding it to your account will take only a mouse click. Everything required for the website to start showing up, including setting up a domain folder and creating DNS records will be done automatically by us. The feature-rich Domain Manager tool will allow you to view a full list of the domain addresses that you have registered through our company and you can set a filter to view just the parked or just the hosted ones.
